Here, a delicate mouthful is served atop a shisho leaf, finished with an edible flower and freshly grated wasabi, and it both looks and tastes like nothing you’ve ever eaten before. The bar does seem a bit small to have a drink while you wait. It is the place for customers that need the ‘little extra’ - a place to pamper themselves, with their loved ones, or a private gathering. A plate of house nigiri had some stand-outs to be sure, most notably the melting mackerel flavored with truffle soy sauce and a firm jolt of lemon. All sushi and sashimi is made using the best fish available on the day, chosen by the chef, and is served with the best knowledge and construction of taste. For this reason, the prices seemed disproportionately high.

What really makes the experience special, despite the fact that Hot Stone is a critically acclaimed steak and sushi bar, is the enthusiasm of Executive Chef Padam Raj Rai.
